Yasugi Specialty Stainless Steel

Bonsai scissors made from Yasugi Specialty Steel, a unique steel produced exclusively in Japan. Yasugi steel is crafted at the Hitachi Metals plant in Shimane Prefecture. This steel is formed by combining iron and steel, removing impurities like phosphorus and sulfur that reduce sharpness, and repeatedly forging and rolling the steel through hot processing. Tools made from Yasugi steel are extra strong, wear-resistant, and long-lasting, ensuring sharpness over time.
